Affiliate Terms
These plain-English terms govern the GrainBrief affiliate program.
Commission
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, active partners earn pending commission on qualified paid subscription revenue attributed to their referral code. The default rate shown in the partner page is an accounting target, not an automatic payment guarantee.
Attribution
Referral links set a 90-day cookie. GrainBrief records the partner code during signup and Stripe checkout metadata when available. If attribution data is missing, fraudulent, self-referred, or disputed, GrainBrief may decline the commission.
Promotion Rules
- Do not claim GrainBrief guarantees savings, price outcomes, crop outcomes, or market returns.
- Do not describe GrainBrief as trading, hedging, agronomic, chemical-label, crop-insurance, legal, tax, or procurement advice.
- Do not imply USDA, NOAA, CFTC, EIA, FRED, university, commodity-group, or government endorsement.
- Use clear disclosure when affiliate compensation may apply.
Payout Review
Commissions are recorded as pending after qualified paid Stripe invoices and are manually reviewed before payout. Refunds, chargebacks, fraud, duplicate accounts, internal testing, and non-qualified customers can reverse or void a pending earning.
